Windows XP seems to be dropping folders

When I boot up, I get the following error messages:
"C:\DOCUMT~1\ALMAJ~1\temp\{72DF62BD-FF-36-424E-AA5F-D89BAFF2C249!\isrt.dll"-
specified module could not be found. "C:\PROGRA~1\IEMENU~\tbestn.dll" -
specified module could not be found. "C:\WINDOWS\bxxs5.dll" - error loading,
specified module could not be found. "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT" -
specified module could not be found.

Can I use system restore to go before all these problems? If so, how can I
pick a restore point in mid-December that will work?

System restore may work depending upon the nasty that has infected your PC.

To use Syetm Restoe and pick a mid-December restore point depends on wether
one was created at that time. Just click START> ALL PROGRAMS> ACCESSORIES>
SYSTEM TOOLS> SYSTEM RESTORE
