Windows XP Pro SP2, Partition Behavior, & PartitionMagic 8

Hello,
I have been using Windows 98FE/SE with PartitionMagic 3/5 for 9 years with
no problem. I have used PM to make PM "hidden" backup copies of my
partitions from my #1 HDD to my #3 HDD and from my #3 HDD to my #1 HDD,
etc... I basically made hidden copies of partitions and placed them on a
different drive for safety in case of drive failure. These backups have
saved me a lot of grief over the years.

I finally ordered XP Pro SP2 and I also have a new PM8. I know that XP Pro
SP2 is fussier than Win98SE so I have a few questions about it. I have a
total of 3 HDD's with 340 GB's of space with about half not even formatted.
I have a lot of space on my HDD's for backup partitions. I am going to
keep my Win98SE for some time on my system, gradually reducing apps as I
migrate over to XP Pro SP2. Before I boot into XP Pro SP2, I want to use
PM8 to "hide" most of my 98SE FAT32 partitions.

Before I start the XP Pro SP2 installation, I am going to install my
Symantec PartitionMagic 8.x in Windows 98SE, create an NTFS primary
partition right after my 98SE primary partition, and also create a few
logical NTFS primary partitions over my 3 HDD's. I will then "hide" the
Windows 98SE FAT32 primary partition and the other 98SE FAT32 logical
application partitions. I will not hide the FAT32 partitions which contain
data or personal files. Then I will install XP Pro SP2 into its NTFS
primary partition.

These are my questions:
1. Can I still use PM to make "hidden" copies of the NTFS partitions and
place these hidden backup partitions on my other HDD's or will XP Pro SP2
throw a fit?
2. If I later convert a FAT32 partition (which contains downloaded files
and personal files, no apps) to NTFS inside PM8, will XP Pro SP2 have a
problem?
3. Overall, how does XP Pro SP2 behave after I make changes to a partition
it can see (not hidden) or a different partition which is hidden, and I
reboot? Does it throw a fit?

Thanks in Advance.
