Windows XP Pro keeps hanging!! Help please..

Hi my name is Tyrone Clark.
I am running XP Pro on a AMD Athlon 1.33, with 256MB DDR
Ram. I wanted to ask if anyone knew why my windows keeps
hanging...by hanging i mean that it just stops. i havent
got any virus' ive done many thorough test and scans.
It doesnt matter how long the pc is on, earlier on i
switched it on from being off all night and it hanged
again!
I will apreciate any help given.

First thing that comes to mind as a possible problem are video drivers. Try
updating your video drivers from the video cards website.

I had a similar problem. If you run dxdiag is AGP enabled
or shaded out?

Are you using an nvidea graphics card and have and Ali
chipset on your motherboard?
