Windows XP Logon

I loaned a winxp pro machine to a client and upon return
I have the logon screen to log on to the local machine.
Problem is that I cannot remember any local user account
password. Is there a way to get around this? I have tried
starting with different startup options but I keep
getting back to the log on screen.

Hopefully you remember the Administrator password. Press CTRL-ALT-DEL twice at the Welcome Screen. You'll get the older style logon dialog. Enter Administrator and any passsword that you may have set for that account. If in doubt, try leaving it blank.
