Windows XP Logo Testing

I tried updating my mom's computer through Windows
automatic udate, but before they are fully installed, I
get a message saying that Lucent Win Modem has not passed
Windows XP Logo Testing. I am not sure if I should
continue with the installations or cancel them.

Since xp is new not all bugs have been worked out.
Once a program works good on xp then they give it a seal
of approval, so to speak, that does not mean it will not
work, it just means they havent finished testing that
particular program driver for the modem. Updated drivers
are always avalible at the manufacturers web sites under
downloads and drivers. Download the most recent version
from lucent or manufacturer of computer.
