WIndows XP Install stops while trying to install on an old HP

Hello,
Im trying to install windows XP profession on an HP
Pavillion. It has a PII not sure how much RAM. But
everytime try to install even before it gets past the
bule screen part of the install even before it asks me to
accept the license agreement it stops and says something
like "could not load system.bbd"
I tried the Install CD in another box and it worked fine.
I hooked another CD rom up to the HP tried that it still
did not work. So I dont think its the CDROM Drive Or the
CDROM it self.

Any Ideas?
