Today I was trying to download Microsoft's Latest updates to my
SONY VAIO FXA53 Laptop, when it suddenly froze at the end of the install.
I remember that it was trying to install SYSAUDIO.something) when
it froze. I couldn't get anything to work so I basically held the
Power Button until it shut down. I tried to restart and this is
when the problem REALLY begun.
Now I can't get my laptop to load WinXP Home at all. The first thing
that pops up is a SONY logo followed by the famous Loading black Bars.
Then that is followed by WIN XP HOME Logo and after a few seconds
it seems like everything is fine and restarts all over again.
I have looked for help thru here and microsoft and has left me
without a fix to my problem.
Here's what I Have tried so far and it still restarts:
1. - Restart Laptop normally = Failed
2. - Hit F2 on loading bars and tried
all of the options to load my laptop which include
SAFE MODE, LAST GOOD Boot, etc... = Failed.
3. - Changed my BIOS option so that I can load
thru my CDROM. = Failed.
4. - I had 2x256MB of RAM, and uninstalled each at
a time and swapped spots (hoping it was bad memory)
= Failed.
Now I have run out of ideas or answers. If anyone out there
can help me, I would trully appreciate it. Maybe even pay
a little money if necessary. I'd like my work safe since
I didn't back up the last of my work.
please email me at (e-mail address removed)
Thank you
