I would like to be able to modify the fax once I have set it up to send out, aka change the phone number , name etc.

does anyone know how to do that?
I have used Winfax and it offered that option.

Why not get Winfax again?

I'm using Winfax version 10. I don't see a way to change text, especially since by the time a fax is in the Winfax outbox, it exists as a graphics file, not a text-based file. You can add text boxes, lines, arrows and other graphical elements, but you can't actually change the existing text unless you cover it with an element.

Which version of Winfax did you use, which had the feature you mentioned?

I'm using Winfax version 10. I don't see a way to change text, especially

The manual will tell you how to change the setup and how to create your own
faxes. It is a long time since I used that part of winfax. I found it easier
to create the faxes in Word (any program will do) and fax from there.

I changed from winfax and used the software (supervoice) that came with a
sportser modem I bought years ago- it set itself up so you chose File Print
then chose the fax as a printer. Winfax can do this too- that is the one
that I currently have installed on this machine. (it is a 1994 version of
winfax v3.1 !!)

The problem is not modifying the text, the problem is modifying the
telephone/fax number. If i enter the wrong number and have started the
faxing process, how can i modify the number, if necessary. Or it i
want to send it to someone else, aka, forward it and then need to enter
a different phone/fax number

I guess you can change your number and other personal information by clicking
on the 'Sender Information' in Fax Console.
