windows xp and wireless

I bought a router wirless 4 channels billion 5100w.
It seems to work with the lan cable but i can not get it to work
with my laptop that has wifi.
Is there any trouble shooting or instruction anywhere posted
to get a latop wiwi enabled running XP working with a wirlesss
network ?

Make sure you have installed the right driver for the wireless network
card and be sure that it is fully inserted all the way. Do you even see
your connection or you are not picking up anything at all? Sometimes you
can pick up other wireless connections within your area. This is a good
way to see if it is related to your PC card or your router.
