windows xp accounts

I would like to know how to give a non-admistrator user control of antivirus
software should any problems arise while the administrator is unavailable.
does anyone know how to do this as well as with other programs that you would
like a regular user to have access and control to but not be able to mess
with other programs or accounts on the computer? ? ?

Hi D,

This is often within the software controls themselves. If the program
writers did not provide a means for you to allow non-admin users to access
program controls, then they will not be able to.

Any normal user should be able to use AV software anyway since it is a
"non-destructive" process of scanning files and quarantining/deleting any
that are suspect.
