windows wont load

Im getting a message on my laptop stating theres a bad image error. wont load
windows. lost recovery cd. can i download to a desktop and make a cd from
that?

Can you start in either Safe Mode or last Good know Configuration?
restart in Safe Mode by tapping the F8 on start
Up until you get the Boot up options and select Safe Mode.
Does this help?

I tried both of those didnt work. telling me to check with install cd. Need
to obtain a cd some how.

Contact your laptop Vendor to get a recovery CD
Or go to their website and order ne.
Or take it to your local repsir shop to repair it for you.

When you start the laptop do you see a recovery Option by pressing F8 or F11?
If you do try to press the F key to get to the Factory recovery settings and
there try to Test the hardware first then if the hardware passed the test
(Hard rive and RAM) you can press the Advanced Optiona nd select Recovery to
factory settings.
