Windows wireless network

Ray

I installed a USB wireless network and would like to use Windows wireless
network rather than the supplied utility program with USB wireless network.
Can someone advise how to activate the Windows wireless network since I
cannot find the Windows wireless network in wireless network properties.

Thanks,

Ray

To restore the Wireless Networks tab in the connection's properties,
make sure that the Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) service is
running:

1. Right click My Computer, and click Manage.
2. Double click Services and Applications.
3. Double click Services.
4. Double click "Wireless Zero Configuration". If the Service status
is Stopped, click Start.
5. Set the Startup type to Automatic.

It's possible that the utility program has disabled the WZC service.
If so, these steps should re-enable WZC:

1. Run the registry editor.

2. Open this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WZCSVC

3. Create a DWORD value named "Start" and set it to 2.

Oops. I made a typo in the name of the registry key. My apologies.
It should be:
