There are Vista specific newsgroups. Also when reposting there provide more
info. What is the computer, the hardware, the configuration, how are you
trying to install vista, clean or upgrade, OEM or retail, what is the disk
configuration and type, etc.

Hmm, I wonder why not. I gave you a list of all the newsgroups. Or you
could do a Google search for Vista newsgroups:

Click on Discussions in the left column to get to the various newsgroups.

Or use the Web portal and scroll down to the Vista newsgroups.

It is always possible that the newsgroups listed are not yet accesible via
his server. I've just checked and they are not visible from mine. Some
server admins take a long time to update their accesses.
