Windows Vista DVD Maker cannot make 16:9 DVD

Though I'm using 16:9 videos (1280 x 720 pixel) and specified 16:9 in Options
the DVD comes out in 4:3. Honey I shrunk the kids? The DVD menu is the only
thing I get in 16:9.

Then I read about that tip:

http://www.windowsdvdmaker.com/forums/thread/701.aspx

Is this the only way via video quality loss?
Then I would call it a bug in DVD maker.
Hope there is another solution!

Thanks for help!
