Windows Update

Scott Vaughan

My Windows Updater has been running for over 24 hours and
is only at 65%. I use Windows XP professional. Is there
any way to adjust the download speed to get the update
finished? Or is there someway to stop the updater so that
I can use the computer for other things and then go back
to the updater later on? Please help!

Your computer has lost its connection to Microsoft's server. Might as well
cancel the operation and restart your computer. Try Windows Update again
later. As you might imagine, it's been a little busy these days.

Microsoft is limiting the daily number of SP-2 downloads. You may get SP-2 soon or
you can wait days. For more information, see FAQ #7:
