Windows Update Catalogue update order

O

Ondrej Sevecek

Hello,
when I am using Windows Update Catologue to download the updates, is it
sure that all of them are (even if installed separatelly) installed in the
correct order/or newer updates remain - or I need to install those patches
with some defined order?
Second, is there a method to slipstream those pathes to the installation
folder such as with ServicePack /s:...?

Thanks Ondra.

The Windows Update site doesn't download or install the hot fixes in a
predefined order. There are, however, hotfixes that must be installed
separately from others as the installation requires the machine to be
rebooted. When you come across one of these, the website will notify you
when you flag it for download.

If you want to make sure your machine is up to date in regard to security
patches, please download the MBSA tool we have. You can read more about it
