Windows Update Can't Display Drivers

I've tried on two different PC's running XP Pro to update
device drives through the Windows Update utility. In each
case the utility reports back "An error occurred while
scanning for driver updates. We are not able to display
any updated drivers for your system." What does this
mean? Are there no new drivers or is there a problem with
my systems? Anyone know?

I just replaced a motherboard and I'm seeing this too.
After a fresh install of the OS, I still can't get access
to drivers/WU...? No idea what's happening. My laptop
works fine.

After replacing a motherboard you should ALWAYS perform a Repair
Installation unless the chipsets are exactly identical.

Cari, that's fine, but I've already performed a
completely fresh install of the WinXP Pro SP1A
slipstream... and it's been activated properly... still
doesn't help...
