Read, study, and do what this article recommends. One of the things you
will do
is to *very carefully* remove some files from the C:\Program

I am using Windows XP Home and always scan and update the critical updates.
I downloaded and installed the MS03-06:Security Update for Windows XP
(823980) but it does not seem to install itself. I look at my installation
history and it shows as installed but doing a new scan show this update as
an update to install. I did install it twice, once with microsofts auto
update and another time manually (web site), but when I scan it still shows
as needing to be downloaded
Any thoughts on this problem?
