Windows Size

How come when I open a .txt file it never seems to open full, maximum, screen
size??? It's always sized. I MAX the screen do a <CTRL> Left-Click on the
close button and it always seems to open sized. Just annoying is all. Is
there any way to tell windows to always open to the maximum window size? I'll
shape it if I want.

Thanks in advance.

For some programs, you can right click the program and select open in full
screen, but others, I think is not possible with modifying the registry.

Don't maximize.. drag to resize the window, then close. If no other
windows are open, the new size is sometimes remembered.

You can edit the properties of program shortcuts to have the programs
open maximized, but that won't help when you double-click a file that
opens a specific program.

IIRC, after dragging tge edges to maximise the window, Ctrl-Close often
works better at remembering the setting
