Windows Shell...

Does anyone have any experience writting their own Windows shell for Windows
XPe? (sample code, gotcha's....)

We are a kiosk company and we are planning on writting our own shell
(instead of using Explorer). I've done it in the past, but ran across a
problem when updating Internet Explorer from 4.x to 5.x. The Explorer
installer would not complete if you used your own shell.

I don't know what you call by "Explorer installer" but pretty much any Win32 based app could be launched as the shell on XP/XPe.
