Windows Server 2003 and Mac's

Hi all,

I have having problems regarding Windows server 2003 and Mac's in that, we
have a number of Windows server 2000's which have Mac file share services
enabled on them with no problem. This is our first 2003 server and we have
installed Mac services on it, they are working fine.

But when a user gets a document sent to them in word, they save it as Plain
text, so the mac can open it, and place it in the folder that the Mac's look
at. If the name of this document is more than 8 characters or contains an
spaces the Mac can only see the first 8 characters. Are there know issues,
if so is there a fix?

Sorry, No they are using OS 8.6 / 9 / 9.1
