My windows reboots unexpectedly when running with a program with error
signature as follows:

It looks like you may have a corrupt registry. A program like RegCure can
remove this error. Other than that if you don't already have automatic
updates you should run Windows Update in case there is something else causing
this error.

What I would do is first reboot, then hit F8 and choose Safe Mode or Safe
Mode with Networking. Then I'd go into a Device Manager to see if there are
any devices that may not be working properly. You may need to update a
graphics driver for example especially if you run a program that requires it.
Have you downloaded anything recently like a large graphics, video or
animation file?
If it's not a software problem you may need to open up your pc or take it
to a technician.

Thanks for you help. I have cleaned the registry with RegCure but it did not
work. About Windows Update, could you please give me some advice about what
should be updated?

Background information on Stop Error message
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms793589.aspx

0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Typically due to a bad driver, or faulty or incompatible hardware or
software. Use the General Troubleshooting of STOP Messages checklist
above. Technically, this error condition means that a kernel-mode
process or driver tried to access a memory location to which it did not
have permission, or at a kernel Interrupt ReQuest Level (IRQL) that was
too high. (A kernel-mode process can access only other processes that
have an IRQL lower than, or equal to, its own.)

You receive a "Stop 0x0000000A" error message in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314063/

Does the problem show itself during the boot process or later?

Has the problem occurred whilst using safe mode?

How frequently does the problem occur?

Are any devices malfunctioning? Select Start, All Programs, Accessories,
System Tools, System Information. Open Components under System Summary
and click on Problem Devices. Is anything listed there?

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on
the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties,
Hardware,Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?

What is your computer make and model?

Thanks for your reply. But the error code is 1000000a, not 0000000a...

They are the same. Stop Error error 0x0000000A is recorded as 1000000a in
the Event Viewer report for the same event.
