Windows Picture and Fax Viewer....unwanted pictures

P

pjlegere

When I go to my pictures that I have in My Documents/My Pictures and click on
a folder I can scroll from picture to picture with no problems.

However when I received pictures via e-mail and go to open them, if I open
them one at a time there is no problem but if I try to scroll through them I
get pictures of logos, symbols and all other pictures from whatever site that
may have been visited by us.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening.

Thanks

You cannot prevent the unwanted files from
accumulating but you can delete them. And...
keeping your TIF folder emptied can make
speed up your browsing.

You can remove the unwanted files by deleting
all the files in your Temporary Internet Files folder.

The following articles offer instructions...

Temporary Internet Files Folder

Personally, I use a freebie called CCleaner...
one click removes the unwanted files.
