"Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" error at startup

Hi,

When I click on a picture Windows Picture and Fax viewer try to open, but I
get the error message

"VIEWER caused a general protection fault in module QTJPEG.QTC at 0002:ICD0"

What to do, please help. Is it possible to unistall/reinstall the Windows
Picture and Fax viewer. If YES, how ?

A search on the net indicates that QTJPEG.QTC
is an Apple Graphics Image Decompressor
Component. There is a discussion of this issue

You may want to try a search and see what you can find.

Try uninstalling Apple QuickTime and see if it helps.
