windows photo galledry

why can't I open windows photo gallery? It does not appear on my list of
programs, so I cannot follow windows instructions.

I continually receive email with attachments which I cannot open, message is
that I don't have windows photo gallery.

How do I activate this program?

Can you see if the photo gallery folder exists? It should be here:

C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Gallery

Which edition of Vista do you have?

have vista home basic - think this is the problem. found photo gallery and
it is active, but cannot read attachments. will contact microsoft and if
this is the problem will upgrade. thanks for your assistance.

I didn't think Photo Gallery was included in Home Basic.

Hello Jeanne,

Are these attachments ones that you receive via Windows Mail? Is Windows
Mail set as your default mail reader?
