Windows PE

I am booting my target machine using Win PE from XP Embedded CD #1. I need
to map a network drive but am unable to. I get the following error:
"Failed to install network adapter check WINBOM"

Is this because the proper network driver for my card is not included in
this version of Win PE? Is there a version of Win PE I could customize with
the proper network driver? If so, where can I get this version?

Hi DK,

The version of WinPE that you are looking for is in the Windows XP OPK (OEM
Preinstallation Kit). There you can add drivers for your network adapter to
the WinPE files, rebuild the ISO, and recreate a new CD with the drivers
built in.

The files that you need from the OPK specifically are oscdimg.exe and
etfsboot.com
