Windows Movie Maker- saving project movie to CD or DVD

When I save/burn the movie project to a CD or DVD, it saves it as Read Only
file. I can play it on my computer, but not any other computer. How do I save
or burn the movie to a CD so that I can play it on any other computer?

You don't want to save the movie project you want to save the movie file.

Use
file
save movie file
recordable cd

cd's made this way won't work on dvd players, but will on all windows pc's.

To get one to work on a dvd player you need to save the movie file as a
dv-avi

Then import it into whatever your dvd authoring software is, this should
have come with your burner, and author a dvd.
