Windows Media Updates Issue

Getting Error while I performed updates for Media player "an unexpected error
has occured. Setup was not able to detect any windows media updates".

windows OS updates are working fine.

Kindly do some needful. thanks in advance

If you havent just reinstalled the OS or a major service pack,thier havent
been
any recent updates for WMP,where are the updates coming from....

So what happens when you run MS Update, any media player updates should be
shown, if any available
