Windows Media Player

Mike Hogan

I recently upgraded to Windows XP Home Edition and have
run into a few problems. MS support helped me with two
of them but now I see that 2 incidents is all I get for
free and the next one costs $35.00. As I don't really
want to pay that I hope somebody out there can help me.

I recently discovered that my Windows Media Player
doesn't work. I seem to have it in my system but I can't
open it.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks.

Mike

I got a similar problem after reinstalling XP home; I just downloaded WMP9
from the MS site. The installation didn't complain that I already had it
installed, and it even retained my previous media library etc.
