Windows Media Player only plays sound for .avi file and no pictures

I am trying to play a .avi tutorial. I can only hear sound
but cannot view any picture in it. What might be the
solution to this.
I have media player 9.00.00.2980 in Windows 2000 Server
and Windows XP.

Thanks in advance for your help/input in resolving this
issue.

You need to get a avi or divx codec like divx player also
real one player will somtimes play it or you can use kazza
light codec pack not the program to dl music but the codec
pack
