My Windows Media Player doesn't recignize my CD-RW or my
DVD player. How do I reset it so I can once again burn
CDs with my Windows media player???

"once again"? Could your burn CDs before with this burner and it suddenly
stopped? Or did you replace the burner with a different type and it stopped
working? If it is a new or replaced burner, then install the driver that
came with the CD burner. There will probably be a copy of PowerDVD which
will install the DVD codecs (if you didn't have them already). Once
installed you can view DVDs with WMP. If your burner is newer than the
version of windows, then windows won't have the driver for it built in,
you'll have to install the one that came with the drive. If after that it
STILL won't burn, the drive may be of a type that the built in burning
software (roxio lite) doesn't understand. In that case you'll have to
install the burning software that probably came with the drive, or use a
third party program like CD Creator or my favorite Nero...
