Windows Media player 11 does not play DVD

HI when I bougt my computer it came with Windows Media Player 9, but after a
while I decided to upgrade it with Media Player 11 but just now I discovered
that I cant play DVD with it and my system says that I dont have a compatible
decoder to play DVD but it works to watch downloaded movies from limewire and
play music, I also deleted Media Player 9 when I installed the new M.P 11
could this be the reason. Pls hope anyone can help me out.

A DVD decoder is third party add-on, updating to WMP11 didn't cause
your [problem, you either had a decoder or not.

Reinstall your DVD decoding software... WinDVD or PowerDVD.. whichever came
on your PC.
