Windows Media Player 10

I have apparently uninstalled the portable media device. My Windows player
does not have any sound - is dead. I have an error C00D11BA: Cannot play the
file.
Where can I get a device ??? Can someone help please?

Start, Settings, Control Panel, Sounds and Audio. Check the first set of
tabs for correctness and then on the Hardware tab, click on the
Troubleshooter. The steps will often find and resolve your sounds issue.
