Help!

I'm trying to get my emails downloaded to my Windows Mail Inbox without
having them still left on the server. This when, I go back to new mail I
keep having to dump those I alreday have received.

How do I configure Windows Mail to erase messages on the server when
Idownlaod them?

Also, I seem to be receiving duplicats of several emails. What can I do
about that?

Deleting messages from the server should be the default. Go to
Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced, and make
sure that "Leave a copy of messages on the server" is not checked.

Make sure you don't have a duplicate account set up: Tools, Accounts.

Checked you trouble shooter out...I'm good on "deleting mail from server"
box it's not checked.

e-mails are stockpiling - up to 320 in one account. It seems as though msg
count gets to 52 hags up and then wont go through. It aborts search, I get
51 messages (several are duplicates) then the following eror message pops -

"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'mail.comcast.net',
Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F"

Need more help. Thanks

One of the possible causes for this problem is a non-compatible
antivirus. Windows Mail tends to develop problems particularly from
Norton and McAfee antivirus programs. Lately, Trend Micro has also
become troublesome. If you are using one of those, uninstall it, reboot,
then try Windows Mail again.
