windows mail

i have two questions, when i am send an email and i am typing in name in my
contact list it does not give me predictive clues like it did in outlook
express, so i have to either type in the entire name or go to the contacts
list

also, when i first go to windows mail, it it slow in coming up whereas
outlook express was instant, can i speed this up

Go to Tools, Options, Send, make sure the fourth option is checked.

This feature is known as auto-complete. It does not work very well
in Windows Mail. Windows Mail only remembers the last 29 recipients
that you have sent mail to. There's no way to fix it unless you upgrade to
Windows Live Mail.
