Windows Mail

I bought a computer which came with Win Vista Home Basic installed. In Vista
Outlook mail has become Windows Mail and with it a problem has arisen.

When I click on a mail link in a document or piece of mail, even one inside
Windows mail, I get the following message

" Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook "

Which is a problem. Any solutions?

Try this:
Open Control Panel > Programs > Standard Programs

Set Windows Mail as standard program for all file types and protocols.

Outlook does not become Windows Mail. It is a part of Microsoft Office and
Outlook 2003 and higher work on Vista.

Outlook Express metamorphosed into Windows Mail.

Start | Default Programs
Make sure whichever you want (assuming that you installed Outlook) has all
its defaults.
