Windows Mail vs Windows Live Mail

What is the difference between Windows mail that came on my Laptop and
Windows Live Mail? If I install Windows Live Mail will I loose everything
that I have stored in my Windows Mail?

You won't lose anything. Windows Mail continues to exist when you install
Windows Live Mail. I use both programs concurrently on the same laptop.

The best way to discover the differences is to try it out. You can always
uninstall it if it turns out you don't like it.

Windows Live Mail does pretty much everything that Windows
Mail does, plus a few extras. Its installer will automatically import all
your Windows Mail accounts, settings, and emails.
