Windows Mail settings

I have 2 questions:

1. When opening a message from the message list, the new window opens in
"non full screen" mode. I have to then click on the maximize button. How do
I default to full screen for new windows in general?

2. When I open a message and then hit the delete button, it takes me
automatically to the next message, I want it to go back to the message list.
I know in outlook where you can set these settings but can't find it with
Windows mail. Help!

We saw your first post, no need to duplicate.

1) With only ONE new mail Window open>drag the edges of the window with your
mouse to the size that you want it to always open>close that window without
using it.

2) Are you using the preview pane or not to read messages?
Try changing the method from one to the other, view>layout>preview pane.

sorry for the duplicate, but I got an error the first time and it said it did
not post, go figure. Anyway, the sizing workerd perfectly thank you. As to
the 2nd question, I am not using the preview pane. I know in outlook you can
set the action to take after delete, forward, reply etc... but I can't find
that option here. When I reply or forward it takes me back to the message
list, just not when I delete from within the message. Thoughts?

Sorry, Windows Mail will always show the next message if you delete
a message opened in its own window. The only way to avoid that is to
close the window, then delete from the message list pane.
