Windows Mail freezes during transfer from OE

I used Windows Easy Transfer to move files & settings from my XP system to a
new Vista system. I opened Windows Mail, whereupon it begins automatic
transfer of my messages & newsgroups from Outlook Express. However, it
freezes up about halfway, it seems to be stuck on a newsgroup transfer. Is
there any way to reset Mail so it doesn't do the auto transfer? Then I can
manually transfer only the messages, I don't need it to transfer the
newsgroups.

Delete the current transfer file and redo the transfer.
Before you start, delete all the subscribed newsgroups in OE.
It is faster to simply re-download the newsgroup messages from
inside Windows Mail.
