Windows mail error message

When we try to send a link we get a messag "Windows Mail no longer supports
HTTP" not sure what to do now. Tried to set up "Register Hotmail" like was
suggested but still get the error message

Bruce gave you the instructions for accessing your hotmail account via POP3,
where emails are downloaded and usually removed from the server.
If you wish to access it via http, like you may have done with OE, then
download and use the newer Windows Live Mail program.

When installing a Hotmail or MSN account in Windows Mail, there is
a wrinkle that I didn't see covered in the instructions referenced below.

Although it accepts the newer Live.com addresses, the Windows Mail
account setup wizard is hard-coded to reject Hotmail and MSN addresses.
To get around that, when you enter your Hotmail email address initially,
use a fake one, such as (e-mail address removed). After the account setup is
complete, go back and correct your email address.
