I just bought a new quad core Dell XPS 420 machine (Q6600) with Vista, and
successfully migrated all my Inbox/Sent/Deleted emails from Outlook Express.
I have noticed one cosmetic bug in Windows mail, which the Vista SP1 upgrade
still does not fix: when I double-click a header in the Inbox email list to
open an email in a separate window, the header for that email remains
highlighted but grayed (as it should) in the Windows Mail list. If I then
hit the Delete "X" in the individual mail message window, the next mail
message in the main list is displayed (as it should be), but the highlight in
the main Windows Mail listing drops down two lines (to the email below the
one displayed in the open email window). Has anyone else noticed this?
Microsoft Developers--when are you guys going to fix this?
