Windows Mail and SSL

When I try to connect to my server at pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com to get mail I
get an error message stating "The server you are connecting to is using a
security certificate that could not be verified. The certificates name does
not match the passed value. Do you want to continue using the server? YES or
NO
If I say yes, Windows Mail works fine sending and receiving emails.

The settings for the SMTP server are port number 465 and 995 for the POP 3
server with the SSL box checked as per the ISP's directions. If I change them
back to 25 for outgoing and 110 for incoming, I do not get this error message
at all.

The ISP (SBCGLOBAL) tells me that Windows Mail does not support their SSL
requirements, and that is the problem, not their server.

So my question is really about whether Microsoft plans on updated the
Windows Mail application that is embedded in Vista to work with SSL ports and
setting such as what I have described above.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem or if Windows Mail will get it fixed?

Thanx
