Windows login screen

What security setting allows/prevents users from cutting and pasting
passwords into the Windows login screen?
We use admin passwords generated every 90 days in a database. I'd like to
cut and paste them into the login screen but that feature was disabled by
either by an SP or patch. What do I need to to do to re-enable this ability?

I do not believe that is a registry setting. I believe it is hard coded so
no one could do what you are attempting.
