Windows Locator

When looking at Local Area Connection Properties, I have "Client for
Microsoft Networks". I f I then look at the it's properties, the named
service provider line is blank with "Windows Locator" and "DCE Cell
Directory Service" available in the drop down. If I then set this to "Windows
Locator" and reboot, it seems that this setting is not saved. If I happen to
leave this line "blank" then I get an exception error.

Does anybody have any ideas how I can get this setting to list as default,
and remain on "Windows Locator"? What components are required for "Client for
Microsoft Networks" and to work 100% correctly?

Thanks
