Windows keeps jumping...

My computer takes about 15 to 20 minutes to start up; when it does start up
it goes fairly slow and the mouse moves around slowly; sometimes it'll be
working okay, but then I open iTunes and the computer gets slow and the
sound will start messing up randomly and most of the time.

Also, my space bar is not very responsive while I'm typing this.

I have WindowsXP and I am using an HP Pavilion dv8000 notebook.

It's likely that you put so much music on there the system is running out of
Virtual Memory space on the system drive.

Might be possible that your hard disk is failing.

Corrupt disc errors may indicate that the disk is failing. Try running a
full sector scan with HDTune..
