thanks.. i downloaded the registry mechanic(paid Version) and that
closed it off...when i reboot it comes up again and wants to install
norton then fax goes thru few things but i can close it out now... i
think ill uninstall norton and reinstall but i dunno about fax i
wouldnt even know where that is..i guess im a dumb blonde .. hoping
when i do this will fix it..ill check thru the links you gave me
too..thnks again

I tried the knowledge base item and could not install it as I receive
the message that another program was being installed and had to exit

The other program is the error 1706, TrayApp that's driving us nuts

I got rid of it only to have it rear its ugly head again afte
installing Windows XP Service Pack 2 that was sent to me free o
charge. (I did so many things that I can't recall which 'solution
cured it that time.)

Believe me when I say I had a few "air-turning-blue" words directed t
King Bill. I figured he was going to shorten my life one way o
another through my computer.

Then today I saw that someone, (too lazy to check backwards in anothe
forum to find out who), mentioned 'HP Image Zone'. WHOA!!
immediately insertd my M305 camera disk, removed the works an
reinstalled it.

So far, great! ... But I'm going to think twice before I have the gut
to install another program. This has really put the fear into me!!
