Windows Installer Clean Up Application

E

EMW

I have Vista Ultimate installed and, in general, it runs very well. However,
when I execute the Windows Installer Clean Up Application, I get and error
"Windows Installer Clean Up Application has stopped working". I have tried a
LOT of things to correct this (although none correct the issue) including the
following:

I have uninstalled and reinstalled this application but still get the error.
If I go to the Debug function, I get the following message:
Windows has triggered a breakpoint in msicuu.exe.

This may be due to a corruption of the heap, which indicates a bug in
msicuu.exe or any of the DLLs it has loaded.

This may also be due to the user pressing F12 while msicuu.exe has focus.

The output window may have more diagnostic information.
