Windows Genuine Advantage Waiting

I seem to be held up in startup while Windows WGA is phoning home. My
software is all properly licensed. Seems my startup is dependent on MS
website authentication / speed. I have all of the new August 8th patch
Tuesday updates and that seems to be when it started.

Any suggestions? I have NO viruses, trojans, spyware, adware - for sure!
Windows Firewall is off or on - makes no difference. If I turn off all
startup programs - makes no difference. If I delete all anti-virus /
fireware products - makes no difference - they do not even get the chance to
start anyway and when they do all is blazing fast. I have a clean registry.

DO NOT tell me to disable more programs in startup - DO NOT tell me to
disable SSDP.

Thanks.

WGA does not work that way. It does not "phone home" during the boot process.
