Windows file protection

After a new install of win2k - without sp3 - I installed directx9.0a.
reboot causes the following event viewer system message. After
installing sp3 - same messages appear in event-system viewer.

File replacement was attempted on the protected system file
e:\winnt\system32\ksclockf.ax. This file was restored to the original
version to maintain system stability. The file version of the system
file is 5.0.2165.1.

The 3 other files are ksvpintf.ax,ksinterf.ax,ksdata.ax

Any ideas?
