Windows Explorer-Viewing File Properties by Hovering Cursor

We recently upgraded to Windows XP (from 2000) and I can no longer see the
file properties when I hover my cursor over a file name - specifically the
"Summary" information. Was not able to find anything in MS Knowledge Base or
via Google. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Create a system restore point. Next: Start > Run: Regedit
Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*
Create the string value "InfoTip" (right pane) if not present and modify
its value as following (example):
prop:Type;DocAuthor;DocTitle;DocSubject;DocComments;Write;Size;Attributes

First, make sure that the Indexing service had not been disabled.
Double-click "My Computer", right-click the C:\ drive, "Properties", "General" tab, click
the "Advanced" button, and check the box, "... allow Indexing Service...", OK, Apply", OK

Also verify the below two registry items:

[Start] [Run] [Regedit]

You can enable/disable balloon & Info tips:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
Name: EnableBalloonTips
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0 <--- disables tips
Value: 1 <--- enables tips

Name: ShowInfoTip
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0 <--- disables tips
Value: 1 <--- enables tips
